Traditional Apache Clothing

In the Apache Tribe men and women wear very different clothing based upon their gender. The traditional clothing usually consisted of a lot of hide, they used hide for almost everything including their shoes. The tops of the clothing usually had fringes hanging from them, this was the case for women and men. In mid 1800’s they started using cloth instead of hide but kept the same traditional style with slight changes.
