Warriors of the Apache Tribe

The Apache tribe had plenty of traditional ways, but one of the most known things about the Apache tribe is their fierce warrior background. You can find their warrior ways even within their political system, they only have one chief and that is the War Chief. Apache had high respects for their war chief, “People chose a man known for his courage, wisdom, and personal generosity” (Southwest Crossroads). The male children from when they could stand were taught to fight and survive. This was to prepare the males of any kind of conflict that could accrue and insure that their tribe was ready. Apache warriors were also know to raid other villages and opposing tribes. The Apaches never did this over land, rather they did this for their survival, they acquired food and livestock from these raid. You can see the Apache name being used for the popular American attack helicopter currently being used, this was no accident. The Apache Helicopter was named after the tribe because of their fierce warrior abilities and strength when it came to battle.
